Why Meatless Monday?
It's not about being a vegetarian, but; a flex-etarian. A felx-etarian is someone who exchanges animal protein for plant based protein regularly at meals throughout the week.  Americans overeat meat, actually 15% more  than we should. By cutting animal protein from 3 meals a week, you can reduce your meat intake around 15%.  Replacing  meat with a plant based protein  a few times a week can make significant impacts on your health by lowering  your risk for diabetes and heart disease. Meatless Monday is an easy way to become a flex-etarian and improve your health.  Going meatless is also about being adventures and having fun with new foods and flavors.  Commit one day a week to your health by being thoughtful about the food you eat and where it comes.
